*Encouragement is Essential  *Children Learn From One Another

Suzuki Early Childhood Education is a music program geared for newborns and toddlers through age 3. It is designed based from the philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki who believed that every child could learn, regardless of age. SECE offers a rotating curriculum, incorporating rhymes and songs and utilizes Orff instruments such as the glockenspiel and the xylophone. Through lots of observation, listening and repetition as well as parental involvement, ability develops early. By the time the child graduates from the program they are ready for instrumental lessons. Not only are they developing musical ability, but they are also developing social and emotional skills. They are learning how to anticipate. They are learning how to be patient and take turns. They are learning how to be more social with other children and adults. Through a nurturing environment and encouragement these children are set up for success way beyond their musical development.
